Description

In Flora’s Festival, a jubilant symphony of blossoms bursts forth in vivid celebration. The canvas comes alive with bold crimsons, velvety blues, radiant greens, and splashes of golden light—each petal singing in harmony with spring’s eternal dance. The bouquet, arranged in a deep cerulean vase, evokes the joyful chaos of a blooming festival, where every flower plays its part in nature’s grand performance.

This artwork is a tribute to Flora, the Roman goddess of flowers and spring. As if blessed by her own hand, the painting overflows with energy, rebirth, and the richness of the earth’s palette. The layered acrylics offer both texture and movement, suggesting petals caught in a soft breeze or the rhythm of a festival parade echoing through a dreamlike garden.

With its luminous contrasts and fearless color story, Flora’s Festival speaks not just to the eye, but to the spirit. It invites you to pause, breathe, and revel in life’s abundance. Whether hung in a quiet corner or the heart of a home, this piece radiates warmth, wonder, and the beauty of wild joy.

Pranav, our little artist is 11 years old and he loves to play with colours in unconventional ways. He finds brush boring and enjoys playing with his fingers , paper, leaves , knives, sponge and everyday things.

More about pranav
Pranav is from Gurugram , India and lives with his family. Pranav was 2 weeks when his family got to know that he had Down Syndrome. As expected ,it seemed that the sky had fallen on them. But that did not stop them they worked hard to understand all the different ways to educate pranav and help him cope with his slower learning rate but like a shimmer of hope at the end of a tunnel.

Pranavs journey
When Pranav was 6 years , during his occupational therapy (OT) classes, a new art educator- Rahul sir conducted a trial painting session. Pranav’s family was a little sceptic and weren’t sure if it would be of any benefit, as kids his age use crayons and sketch pens. Pranav sat on artist chair and he was only supposed to play with water and colours .His parents were amazed to see how sir made Pranav splash water and pour colors and something magical was created .This trial class was a new found joy for him. Few sessions with Pranav’s sir and his family could see the progress. Pranav’s family could see how his eyes would always light up at the sight of colours. This gave them encouragement and set the seed for what Pranav is today.
Covid time was a big help. Earlier he could do painting only during painting classes but during covid, he was able to do it everyday. So thank you to YOU TUBE n PINTEREST where Pranav and his mother would together watch lots of videos and experiment various ideas. This added fun to what he was already doing and this meant that everyday he could try new ideas. Pranav has participated in many National and 1 International Art Exhibition. His art has been featured on multiple platforms . He was the youngest artist at DEEP DOWN ARTS EXHIBITION , MEXICO. Pranav has also done 3 solo exhibitions at prestigious locations. Pranav’s paintings are full of life and ooze a sense of positivity and optimism. He is currently in an inclusive school setup. You can follow is art journey.
