Description

At the forefront are bold strokes of crimson, capturing the essence of poppies or fiery red wildflowers that command attention with their intense hue. These strokes intertwine with splashes of cobalt blue, reminiscent of cornflowers or the clear sky on a sunny day. Amidst them, patches of sunny yellow emerge, suggesting the cheerful faces of sunflowers or goldenrod swaying in the breeze.

Lush greens weave through the composition, mirroring the verdant leaves and stems that support the blossoms. Some strokes are delicate and wispy, evoking the fragile petals of daisies and buttercups, while others are robust and textured, resembling the sturdy stems and vibrant blooms of lavender or wild roses.

The arrangement of colors and forms on the canvas suggests movement and spontaneity, as if the flowers are caught mid-dance in a gentle, natural rhythm. Swirls and sweeps of paint convey a sense of airiness and freedom, as if the petals are fluttering in a soft breeze that ripples through the meadow.

In contrast to the lively bursts of floral colors, the background is a subtle wash of soft pastels or earth tones. These understated hues provide a harmonious backdrop that allows the vibrant flowers to stand out even more vividly, enhancing the overall sense of depth and richness in the painting.

As you gaze upon this artwork, you feel immersed in a celebration of nature’s beauty and vitality. The painting not only captures the visual spectacle of wildflowers in their natural habitat but also evokes the emotional experience of encountering a field abloom with color—a moment of pure joy and wonderment at the beauty of the natural world.

This painting, with its dynamic composition and vibrant palette, invites viewers to appreciate the fleeting yet timeless beauty of wildflowers and to revel in the joyous spirit they embody.

Pranav, our little artist is 11 years old and he loves to play with colours in unconventional ways. He finds brush boring and enjoys playing with his fingers , paper, leaves , knives, sponge and everyday things.

More about pranav
Pranav is from Gurugram , India and lives with his family. Pranav was 2 weeks when his family got to know that he had Down Syndrome. As expected ,it seemed that the sky had fallen on them. But that did not stop them they worked hard to understand all the different ways to educate pranav and help him cope with his slower learning rate but like a shimmer of hope at the end of a tunnel.

Pranavs journey
When Pranav was 6 years , during his occupational therapy (OT) classes, a new art educator- Rahul sir conducted a trial painting session. Pranav’s family was a little sceptic and weren’t sure if it would be of any benefit, as kids his age use crayons and sketch pens. Pranav sat on artist chair and he was only supposed to play with water and colours .His parents were amazed to see how sir made Pranav splash water and pour colors and something magical was created .This trial class was a new found joy for him. Few sessions with Pranav’s sir and his family could see the progress. Pranav’s family could see how his eyes would always light up at the sight of colours. This gave them encouragement and set the seed for what Pranav is today.
Covid time was a big help. Earlier he could do painting only during painting classes but during covid, he was able to do it everyday. So thank you to YOU TUBE n PINTEREST where Pranav and his mother would together watch lots of videos and experiment various ideas. This added fun to what he was already doing and this meant that everyday he could try new ideas. Pranav has participated in many National and 1 International Art Exhibition. His art has been featured on multiple platforms . He was the youngest artist at DEEP DOWN ARTS EXHIBITION , MEXICO. Pranav has also done 3 solo exhibitions at prestigious locations. Pranav’s paintings are full of life and ooze a sense of positivity and optimism. He is currently in an inclusive school setup. You can follow is art journey.
