Description
“Prismatic Eruption” immerses its audience in a visual narrative of chaos and beauty, showcasing the raw intensity of nature’s transformative energy. The upper portion of the painting is dominated by shadowy hues of black and gray, cascading downward in a tumultuous, almost smoke-like form. These dark tones create a stark contrast with the vibrant reds, yellows, and pinks that emerge below, symbolizing vitality and rebirth amidst destruction. The textural richness of the piece, with its thickly applied layers and deliberate strokes, enhances the sense of depth and movement, making the eruption feel almost tangible. The golden frame adds an aura of warmth and sophistication, subtly emphasizing the painting’s vibrant lower half while balancing its darker upper tones. As an abstract composition, “Prismatic Eruption” allows each viewer to find their own meaning—whether as a reflection of inner turmoil, a celebration of resilience, or the beauty inherent in change and transformation. It’s a painting that commands attention and inspires contemplation.

More about pranav
Pranav is from Gurugram , India and lives with his family. Pranav was 2 weeks when his family got to know that he had Down Syndrome. As expected ,it seemed that the sky had fallen on them. But that did not stop them they worked hard to understand all the different ways to educate pranav and help him cope with his slower learning rate but like a shimmer of hope at the end of a tunnel.
Pranavs journey
When Pranav was 6 years , during his occupational therapy (OT) classes, a new art educator- Rahul sir conducted a trial painting session. Pranav’s family was a little sceptic and weren’t sure if it would be of any benefit, as kids his age use crayons and sketch pens. Pranav sat on artist chair and he was only supposed to play with water and colours .His parents were amazed to see how sir made Pranav splash water and pour colors and something magical was created .This trial class was a new found joy for him. Few sessions with Pranav’s sir and his family could see the progress. Pranav’s family could see how his eyes would always light up at the sight of colours. This gave them encouragement and set the seed for what Pranav is today.
Covid time was a big help. Earlier he could do painting only during painting classes but during covid, he was able to do it everyday. So thank you to YOU TUBE n PINTEREST where Pranav and his mother would together watch lots of videos and experiment various ideas. This added fun to what he was already doing and this meant that everyday he could try new ideas. Pranav has participated in many National and 1 International Art Exhibition. His art has been featured on multiple platforms . He was the youngest artist at DEEP DOWN ARTS EXHIBITION , MEXICO. Pranav has also done 3 solo exhibitions at prestigious locations.
