Description
“Ocean’s Abstract Voyage” is a painting that transports viewers into a serene and dreamlike seascape. The canvas is dominated by a vast expanse of deep blue, representing the tranquil ocean waters stretching endlessly towards the horizon. The blue hues vary from the darkest indigo at the depths to the softest azure near the surface, capturing the ever-changing mood of the sea.
Amidst this expansive ocean, there are a few boats rendered in abstract forms. These boats are minimalist yet distinct, each painted in shades of white, pink, and yellow. The colors of the boats contrast with the blues of the ocean, adding a sense of vibrancy and playfulness to the composition. The boats appear to glide effortlessly across the water, their simplified shapes suggesting movement and direction within the vastness of the sea.
In the background, faint outlines of mountains rise from the horizon. These mountains are depicted with gentle slopes and muted colors, serving as a serene backdrop to the dynamic interaction between the boats and the ocean. The mountains add a sense of depth and perspective to the painting, grounding the viewer’s gaze and inviting contemplation of the vastness of nature.
Light plays a crucial role in “Ocean’s Abstract Voyage,” casting subtle reflections on the water’s surface and illuminating the boats in soft, diffuse glows. The play of light and shadow enhances the sense of tranquility and creates a calming atmosphere, evoking a sense of peacefulness and serenity.

More about pranav
Pranav is from Gurugram , India and lives with his family. Pranav was 2 weeks when his family got to know that he had Down Syndrome. As expected ,it seemed that the sky had fallen on them. But that did not stop them they worked hard to understand all the different ways to educate pranav and help him cope with his slower learning rate but like a shimmer of hope at the end of a tunnel.
Pranavs journey
When Pranav was 6 years , during his occupational therapy (OT) classes, a new art educator- Rahul sir conducted a trial painting session. Pranav’s family was a little sceptic and weren’t sure if it would be of any benefit, as kids his age use crayons and sketch pens. Pranav sat on artist chair and he was only supposed to play with water and colours .His parents were amazed to see how sir made Pranav splash water and pour colors and something magical was created .This trial class was a new found joy for him. Few sessions with Pranav’s sir and his family could see the progress. Pranav’s family could see how his eyes would always light up at the sight of colours. This gave them encouragement and set the seed for what Pranav is today.
Covid time was a big help. Earlier he could do painting only during painting classes but during covid, he was able to do it everyday. So thank you to YOU TUBE n PINTEREST where Pranav and his mother would together watch lots of videos and experiment various ideas.
