More about pranav
Pranav is from Gurugram , India and lives with his family. Pranav was 2 weeks when his family got to know that he had Down Syndrome. As expected ,it seemed that the sky had fallen on them. But that did not stop them they worked hard to understand all the different ways to educate pranav and help him cope with his slower learning rate but like a shimmer of hope at the end of a tunnel.
Pranavs journey
When Pranav was 6 years , during his occupational therapy (OT) classes, a new art educator- Rahul sir conducted a trial painting session. Pranav’s family was a little sceptic and weren’t sure if it would be of any benefit, as kids his age use crayons and sketch pens. Pranav sat on artist chair and he was only supposed to play with water and colours .His parents were amazed to see how sir made Pranav splash water and pour colors and something magical was created .This trial class was a new found joy for him. Few sessions with Pranav’s sir and his family could see the progress. Pranav’s family could see how his eyes would always light up at the sight of colours. This gave them encouragement and set the seed for what Pranav is today.
Covid time was a big help. Earlier he could do painting only during painting classes but during covid, he was able to do it everyday.
